Revival In Christians

As you would expect, the results of revival upon the Body of Christ is much the same as it is upon the Ministers. This week we are going to look at the results of revival in Christians. We are currently working through R.A. Torrey’s book “How to Pray,” published by Whitaker House Publishing. In revival, Christians are compelled of the Holy Ghost, to come out from the world and live separated lives. (2 Corinthians 6:17) It is in these times of revival that God’s Light shines on the areas of our lives that don’t line up with His Word and brings to our attention a decision that has to be made! (2 Corinthians 4:6) We read in Isaiah Chapter 6, that when Isaiah came face to face with the Lord, the presence of God brought Isaiah to the knowledge of his uncleanliness. (vs. 5) It is at that moment in time that we must make a decision: are we going to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God and repent or are we going to turn away and dismiss what the Spirit of God is showing us? Revival in Christians, brings about a renewed and fresh anointing for prayer.  It is in the presence of God that prayer becomes a personal lifestyle and not just something to do out of religious duty. The voice of persistent and earnest prayer is heard both day and night.
