2015 Has Been Fulfilled 2016 Has Just Begun!

I want to pause on our regular blog subject just for this week and reflect on the Glory of God in the past year.

“Revealing the King in 2015”

Men of Renown held their first game supper in Feb. feeding some where around 400 +/- people in both great food and great Word!

Kid’s Crusade in August saw a church full of kids from all ages engrossed in the Word of the Lord brought by Pastors Kevin and Veronica Vogele.

We had a Water Baptism in August where we saw 15 people baptized.

We were believing that this was going to be the year that the body of Christ at Christian Life and the body of Christ here at Advance First would come together as one. On October 11th, we held our Reconciliation Service, where the two Bodies of Christ came together in a Salt Covenant. One thing that we didn’t know at the time was that God was moving in another Church’s heart at this very time. New Beginnings Church, in Aid, Mo. not only was at this service but also took part in our Salt Covenant! (Three Churches coming together as ONE? Are you kidding me God?) God said “NOPE, I Am doesn’t kid”! Sure enough, in just a short bit of time the Body of Christ at New Beginnings came and became part of what God is building here in Advance. WOW!!!!!!!

The plans for the new facility are getting close to being done. We are looking at beginning dirt work as soon as the weather begins to warm up! Now God has already told us several times that we are going to build this new facility debt-free, but in December we were told that Rick Shipman Construction Company had some building supplies that they would like to donate for the new building. Praise the LORD. Let’s get a truck and a tandem axle trailer and go and pick it up…wouldn’t work, trailer wasn’t big enough to hold all of the supplies! It was going to take a semi-trailer to hold it all. Awesome, but where are we going to get a semi and a box trailer? God has got this, Pastor Brad announced what was going on here in our Sunday morning service and Bro. Jeff Dixon stood up and said he had several box trailers and would be glad to fill them all up with supplies for the new building. It took a 52′ box trailer filled half way up nose to tail to hold all of the materials. Bead board, walnut lumber, oak lumber, mop sinks, urinals, toilets, lights, chandeliers just to name some of the items that they donated. After we picked up the materials, a few days later Shipman donated three five ton hvac units and two three ton hvac units for the building! We have learned to love the “suddenly” of God! Praise the Lord.

Now, in 2016, the Word of the Lord has said that it would be a year of breaking loose! All I can say to you all is: fasten your seat belts, and hold on and let loose, cause we are in for some what kind of a ride! Praise the Lord!
